well it's here again. in a few weeks I, my brother, and 3 of his friends will be driving down to San Diego to attend the annual comic-con. this'll be my 4th year in a row attending and I always come back with a lot of creative energy. It's like I'm magically better, I just wished it would last a whole year. I've been struggling a lot lately.
I try to crank out great works but the literally look like someone who just discovered a sketchpad for the first time got a hold of them.
I had a bit of a reality check from an old friend who told me honestly "you are not good enough to go pro." and I think she is right. I'm gonna give the characters a rest and go back to the fundamentals. in fact that's all I'll be doing for the next two weeks!

when I go to the convention. I'll be going up to artists I admire and requesting if I could draw something in their sketchbooks. by then, I'll be ready

going to yosemite to do a job tomorrow, wish me luck.
